Mahesh Bhatt's wife and actress Soni Razdan tweets in support of Rhea Chakraborty, says 'she was an innocent victim'

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has been in the news for a long time now since the untimely and tragic demise of young and talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress, who was one of the accused in the actor's death case is out on bail after spending a month in jail. Now, senior Bollywood actress Soni Razdan has come out in support of Rhea Chakraborty and tweeted, 'She going to jail has clearly exposed only the people who sent her there and shown that she was an innocent victim of a very twisted design. Why won’t anyone work with her? I think she will do very well. I hope so anyway.' The 'Raazi' actress was replying to a tweet made by a social media user, stating that Rhea Chakraborty has possibly lost any chance at a career in Bollywood after going to jail. Recently, film director and Rhea's friend Rumi Jaffery also came out and extended her support to the actress while saying that he is positive that Rhea will put the bitterness of the past year behind and bounce back to the silver screen in the year 2021 as he called her a talented actress. The filmmaker reportedly said that the actress must get a fair trial and people should wait for the judiciary instead of drawing their own conclusions on the matter. For the unversed, Rhea Chakraborty was the girlfriend of the late Sushant Singh Rajput at the time of his tragic death and the late actor’s father had filed a case against her in July 2020 in Patna levelling several serious allegations against the actress. On the work front, Rhea is all set to make a comeback on the silver screen and will soon be seen in Rumi Jaffery's directorial film ‘Chehre’, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. It is reportedly scheduled to hit the screens in 2021.
