Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali describes his upcoming production 'Laila Majnu' as 'not a safe bet at the box office'. Imtiaz, who has penned the story of the film, said that 'Laila Majnu' lacks 'the chocolate pudding and floss' which is necessary for a love story to become a successful film. Imtiaz said that he always wanted to make a movie on the iconic love story, but never wanted to direct it, rather see a fresh director's take on it. 'Laila Majnu' which stars Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri, is directed by Sajid Ali and is set in Kashmir. The film will hit the screens on September 7, 2018.
