Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, who went by the stage name, KK, left for his heavenly abode yesterday (May 31). His untimely and unfortunate demise left the entire nation shocked and stunned. His fans, the music and film fraternity are mourning his death. Born in Delhi's Malayali family, KK sang around 3,500 jingles across 11 languages before stepping into Bollywood. He was introduced as a playback singer with A R Rahman’s hit songs ‘Kalluri Saaley’ and ‘Hello Dr.’ In 1996, he sang a portion of the famous song 'Chhod Aaye Hum' from the movie, Maachis. And a few years later, in 1999, he got a big Bollywood break with the song 'Tadap Tadap Ke' from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.' And post this there was no look back moment for him and gave several hit tracks in his career spanning over 20 years like 'Pal', 'Khuda Jaane', 'Dil Ibaadat', among others.
