Kanika Kapoor confirms she is 'at home in Lucknow spending some quality time with her parents'

'Baby Doll' singer, Kanika Kapoor, recently took to social media to share a statement slamming reports suggesting that she's been missing from her Lucknow residence amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The singer, who was the first Bollywood celebrity to get tested positive for COVID-19, in her statement wrote that she is at home in Lucknow spending some quality time with her parents. Kanika further clarified that she was screened at the international airport when she travelled from the UK to Mumbai, and there was no advisory stating that she should stay in quarantine. She further added that when she travelled to Lucknow on 11th March to see her family there was no setup for the domestic flights and she was tested on 19th March only after showing symptoms on 17th March. Kanika further stated that she was discharged after being tested negative for three times and has been in home-quarantine for 21 days now. The singer also thanked the doctors and nurses who took care of her and ended her statement by writing, 'Negativity thrown at a person does not change the reality.'
