After a prolonged illness, veteran actor Kader Khan passes away on December 31 at the age of 81, leaving Bollywood fraternity grief stricken. Soon after the news was confirmed by Kader Khan's son Sarfaraz, Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Naved Jafri and many more took to social media to express their grief and share condolences. Amitabh Bachchan who has worked with Kader Khan on many films, called the late actor a 'a brilliant stage artist a most compassionate ', while another fellow actor Paresh Rawal called Kader Khan ‘The Greatest Khan of Bollywood’. Union Minister Smriti Irani also took to Twitter to express her condolences. Kader Khan'son also stated that the last rites of the actor will be performed in Canada as their entire family is present there.
