With reports of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's 2020 wedding doing rounds everywhere, the actor's father and veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar was asked to comment about the same in a recent interview. While expressing his surprise at the news, he said it was the first time he's hearing it. He added that he was with Farhan when he recently celebrated his birthday and even then, he did not mention any such thing. But Javed Akhtar did opine that 'children can be very secretive so you never know'. He also said that Shibani 'is a very sweet girl'. On the other hand, former 'Bigg Boss' contestants Ashmit Patel and Maheck Chahal have called off their engagement after dating for five years. Reports doing rounds claim that it was a mutual decision as Ashmit and Maheck were having problems in their relationship. The same report also claims that the two actors, who were living together, have been living separately since 3-4 months, ever since the problems emerged.
