Jailed Rajpal Yadav performs comedy act in Tihar for inmates

Rajpal Yadav who has been sentenced to three months imprisonment for failing to repay Rs 5 crore loans, found a captive audience when he made his debut at Tihar Jail's stage, with a comedy act. The jail officer told a daily that his act was a laugh riot, there were several others on stage but Rajpal Yadav made sure that everyone had a good time. He also added that while various politicians, gangsters, terrorists, cricketers have visited Tihar Jail, the prison had not had a celebrity from the Hindi Film Industry for a long time. The report further stated that Rajpal Yadav is now working on a play for Christmas. He has not asked for any special treatment and spends most of his time in the jail library.
