Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother hospitalised in Bahrain after suffering a heart stroke Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was constantly in headlines in 2021 because of her alleged link in the ₹200-crores extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Now the year 2022 has also started on a sad note for her. Jacqueline's mother, Kim Fernandez has suffered a heart stroke in Bahrain. Kim was immediately rushed to a hospital and is currently under medical supervision. Jacqueline's parents reside in Bahrain and its a very difficult time for the actress as she is currently stationed in Mumbai. Notably, in December last year, Jacqueline was stopped at the Mumbai airport by officials due to a look out notice issued for her by the Enforcement Directorate. According to a few reports, Jacqueline's request to go overseas for personal reasons was declined by the ED claiming that the investigation in Sukesh Chandrashekhar's case is still open. The ED has been looking into the ₹200-crore money laundering case involving the conman Sukesh. Earlier, during an interview with ETimes, Jacqueline talked about living without her family amid pandemic and revealed how concerned she was about their health during COVID-19 times. She told ETimes, 'My friends from Sri Lanka and my parents, who live in Bahrain, watch the news and panic when they see the situation in India. My parents desperately want me to live with them in Bahrain... Even my uncles and cousins in Sri Lanka are asking me to come and stay with them.' On the work front, Jacqueline, who was last seen in 'Bhoot Police', has films like 'Cirkus', 'Kick 2', 'Bachchan Pandey', and 'Ram Setu' in the pipeline.
