Jacqueline Fernandez skips ED questioning in multi-crore extortion racket case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar

In the multi-crore extortion racket led by conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is an important witness. She got recently summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for the questioning as a witness. However, the actress failed to appear before the ED and skipped the questioning. The reason behind her absence from the question is yet to be known. In a conversation with ETimes, a source close to the investigation said, 'Jacqueline was supposed to show up, but she skipped. Officials are now going to find out about her location and reason for not showing up.' The source also revealed that the line of questioning was to be in connection with a purported transaction that may have taken place between Jacqueline and the prime accused in the case, Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Earlier, she was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi on August 30 for almost five hours in a 200-crore money laundering-related case. According to a report, the actress who was interrogated as a witness was a victim of the said racket. Chandrasekhar used to send chocolates and flowers to Jacqueline and used spoofing technology for communication, hiding his real identity.
