'I was attacked by tear gas, pepper spray, beaten up with batons': 'Tiger Zinda Hai' actor Sajjad Delafrooz posts videos stating plight of Iranian women

After Mandana Karimi staged a solo protest in Mumbai regarding the anti-hijab protest in Iran, Bollywood actor Sajjad Delafrooz shared notes along with photos and videos of women protesting on the streets of Iran. The 'Tiger Zinda Hai' actor was on the streets of Iran, standing in solidarity with the protesters. His note read, 'Let me share the lesson I learned from the young women when I was out on the streets: BRAVERY They taught me I can stand against most brutal enforcements... Tear gas, guns, pepper spray... Non of these feared them... I was attacked by tear gas, pepper spray, beaten up with batons, the police were shooting people directly but nothing derailed the spirit of these young women!' He finished his note by writing, 'To you Iranian Women who made me put the fear away give a chance to stand next to you!' For the uninitiated, the Anti-hijab protests sparked in Iran after a 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was killed by Iran's morality police for loosely wearing a headscarf.
