A few days ago, actor Sonu Sood announced that he was writing a book titled 'I Am No Messiah', recounting his experience of helping migrant workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, in an interview, Sonu talked about what inspired him to pen down his journey into a book. The 'Simmba' actor said 'I don’t believe I am a messiah, I think I’m part of their journey, a part of every single migrant who is living and wants to come back to the bigger cities to earn some bread and butter for their family, so I totally believe that the connection I got from last 6 months, it made me one of them. I don’t believe that I'm any sort of a messiah'. He further added that his late mother once told him to write about special occurrences in his life and he had never thought he would pen down this.
