Actor Sanjay Dutt was likely to be named as the brand ambassador of the Central government's anti-drug drive for International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. But looks like that the plan has been dropped. Reports suggest that Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has rejected the proposal. The main reason for considering Sanjay Dutt to be the ambassdor was his openness about his battle against the addiction. However, if reports are to be believed, the plan was dropped because there were disagreements on him being the face of the drive. Meanwhile, on the work front, he will next be seen in 'Panipat' and will soon start the shooting of 'Sadak 2'.
