Here’s why Jaya Bachchan ran up to the ramp to hug Navya Naveli's close friend Meezaan Jaffery!

Fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla recently celebrated 33 years in the industry with a grand bash which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda were one of them. As the fashion show came to an end, Jaya Bachchan, who was stunned at Meezaan Jaffery’s stellar performance, ran up to the ramp and hugged the 'Malaal' actor. She personally praised Meezaan, who opened the show for the designers. Meezaan was rumoured to be dating Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, however, the actor rubbished all dating rumours and called Navya his good friend. Meezaan made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Malaal' and he was praised for his acting.
