Here's what Javed Akhtar would say to his kids Zoya and Farhan Akhtar if he finds out they smoke marijuana

After the Narcotics Control Bureau found alleged links of Bollywood celebrities in high-end drug nexus, related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, many A-listers have come out in support of the Hindi film industry. Recently, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar was asked about his reaction to a hyperbole situation if he found out that his kids Zoya and Farhan Akhtar smoked Marijuana. To which he replied he’d tell them not to do it, it’s not right, but also maintained that they are grown-ups and would leave it on them to decide. Javed Akhtar also shared that this was similar to the situation when he gave up alcohol in 1991 and had not taken a sip since then. Furthermore, he stated that ‘Charas’ and ‘Ganja’ are ‘ordinary’ things that can be found outside any college campus and shouldn’t be confused with hard drugs like cocaine and LSD.
