The death of the founder of the T-Series music label, Gulshan Kumar, who was popularly known as the "Cassette king", caused shockwaves in the city back in 1997. Kumar was shot dead as he was stepping out of a temple in Mumbai on August 12, 1997. Almost 24 years later, the Bombay High court announced its verdict on the shocking case.
