Legendary music composer Mohammed Zahur Khayyam Hashmi popularly known as Khayyam, recently passed away at the age of 92 due to cardiac arrest. The veteran music composer who had been admitted at a Mumbai hospital on July 28 owing to infection in the lungs, was critical ever since his admission. And as loved ones and fans gathered to bid adieu to the composer par excellence, many Bollywood celebrities too marked their presence and paid their last respects, including Gulzar, Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam. Khayyam is also a recipient of Padma Bhushan and has composed some of the most iconic songs for hindi cinema like 'In Aankhon Ki Masti' and 'Chandni Raat Mein' to name a few.
