At the tender age of four, Emraan Hashmi's son Ayaan Hashmi was diagnosed with first-stage cancer. After 5 years in 2019, he was declared cancer free. On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Ayaan delivered a speech at an event and courageously gave strength to those suffering from this deadly disease. He said, 'You don't have to lose hope because cancer can be treated. I know I am only 10 years old but I may have gone through a lot of experience.' Inspired by his words, actress Sonali Bendre, who is a cancer survivour herself, posted a picture with him and called him 'a canvas of positivity'.
