Dussehra is one of the most awaited festivals in India, which witnesses the burning of Ravana's effigies. According to mythology, Goddess Durga killed the buffalo demon Mahishasura on this day. It also marks the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana. Symbolically, the act of burning Ravana's effigies represents the victory of good over evil. While Ram represents virtue, Ravana represents evil. But was Ravana completely evil?
