Samantha Ruth Prabhu was married to Naga Chaitanya but later got divorced. Samantha’s then mother in law Amala Akkineni had once revealed that Samantha didn’t cook at home. As per reports it was Chaitanya who would cook delicacies at home, much like his dad Nagarjuna. Amala once said, "When the family has a good cook in Nagarjuna, why do we need to hire someone to do it?" She openly agreed that the men in the house cook really well compared to the women. Even Samantha had once said she does not know how to cook and is slowly learning the culinary arts. Even Amala is not so familiar with cooking as she enjoys food prepared by Nagarjuna.
