Actress Mayoori Kango shot to fame with the 1996 film ‘Papa Kehte Hai’. But did you know Mayuri got selected for IIT Kanpur? Yes. However, she did not take admission as she wanted to pursue her passion and become an actress. But, in 2003, Mayoori married NRI businessman Aditya Dhillon, and the couple shifted to New York, quitting showbiz. After moving to the US, Mayoori completed her MBA in Marketing-Finance. In 2013, she returned to India and eventually landed a job at Google, headed by Sundar Pichai, an IIT graduate. She is currently the Head of Industry - Agency Partnership at Google India.
