Coronavirus scare: After Sonam Kapoor, Mini Mathur comes forward in support of Kanika Kapoor, says the FIR is like a witch-hunt

The ‘Baby Doll’ singer Kanika Kapoor tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Friday and since then, much has been said and written about her. Her actions have been severely criticised on social media and even an FIR has been filed against her in Lucknow. After actress Sonam Kapoor, model-cum-actress Mini Mathur too has come forward in her support. Taking to Twitter, Mini wrote that she doesn’t know Kanika personally but she doesn't believe anyone would knowingly put their parents and kids at risk? However, while calling her actions ‘irresponsible and ill-informed’, Mini said that it doesn’t make her criminal and immoral. Urging people to show some empathy, she wrote, ’The FIR is like a witch-hunt! Be compassionate. She is ill.’
