Bengali artist Rupankar Bagchi has landed in a controversy following his disrespectful remarks about KK before the latter’s concert in Kolkata on May 31. Rupankar did a Facebook live wherein he passed some explosive statements like ‘Who is KK, man’ & ‘Why so much excitement about KK’s concert? Why this obsession with Mumbai?’ The artist was visibly miffed about people from Kolkata going gaga over a singer from Mumbai, and Bengali artists not getting enough recognition. His comments about KK faced a lot of heat from netizens on Youtube where his video was uploaded following KK’s death.
