The actor, who rules the heart of his millions of fans and supporters, has now launched an initiative ''#UmeedBySonuSood' to help children suffering from viral fever in Uttar Pradesh. Taking to his Twitter handle, the actor urged the netizens that if anyone knows about a patient suffering from viral fever, they must send a message to him with the hashtag 'UmeedBySonuSood'. He tweeted in Hindi that loosely translates to, 'We have seen that there are many cases of children suffering from fever in UP. If you know any such victim's family, then send us a message using the tag #UmeedBySonuSood . We will try our best to reach them with the help possible in this difficult time.' Notably, dengue and viral fever are currently creating havoc in Uttar Pradesh and have claimed many lives to date. According to reports, around 105 patients with dengue and viral fever were admitted last week to the government medical college in UP’s Firozabad, where the diseases have already claimed 51 lives till now. Meanwhile, the actor is working relentlessly to help people amid the pandemic and keeping up busy 24x7 with his social work. From sending migrants to their hometowns, providing hospital beds, medical aids to set up oxygen plants in different cities, Sonu Sood is doing all his bit to help people to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only this, the actor has launched initiatives supporting children's education and is also trying to counter the problem of unemployment amid the pandemic. Talking about the work front, Sonu will be next seen in the film 'Acharya' along with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. He will also be featuring in the film 'Bachchan Panday' opposite Akshay Kumar.
