Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika's first ‘official’ photo gets leaked; couple’s loyal fans demand the pic be deleted

The Indian cricket team is currently touring South Africa for a series and Anushka Sharma alongwith daughter Vamika has accompanied husband Virat Kohli on the tour. In the 3rd ODI match, the mother-daughter duo was snapped in the stands watching the match and the first ever picture of Vamika got leaked on the internet. The little munchkin was held by mommy Anushka in her arms while she enjoyed the match. Prior to this incident, whenever pictures of Vamika were shared on the internet, her face was blurred to respect the family’s privacy, as requested and maintained by both Virat & Anushka. However this time, an internet user posted a screenshot, revealing Vamika’s face for the first time. Staunch fans of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli urged the user on Twitter to delete the post.Recently Anushka had penned a note thanking the paparazzi for not clicking pictures of their daughter Vamika. She wrote, “We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward. We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter. special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”Previously, Virat had revealed the reason for keeping Vamika away from the limelight and shared, “We have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.” Anushka and Virat turned parents to Vamika on January 11, 2021.
