Days after filmmaker Anurag Kashyap tagged PM Narendra Modi in a screenshot of a rape threat made against his daughter by the PM's self-proclaimed supporter, he has now taken to Twitter to thank the Mumbai Police for helping him file an FIR against the troll. In his tweet, he also mentioned that 'as a father he feels more secure now.' But instead of empathising with him, some netizens started trolling him. While there were some who blamed Kashyap's movies for leaving a bad influence on its audience like the troll himself, others called his tweets a 'publicity' stunt. There were also a handful of those who asked him to 'educate' himself rather than create hype.
