Alia Bhatt grooves to 'Genda Phool', 'Jalebi Baby' at best friend's wedding in Jaipur

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently took up bridesmaid duty for her close friend Rhea Khurana's wedding. Alia was spotted leaving for Jaipur to attend the wedding over the weekend. It's safe to assume that wherever Alia goes, cameras follow. This wedding was no exception. Now, many pictures and videos from the pre-wedding ceremonies have surfaced online wherein Alia is seen having a ball of a time with her girlfriends. In one of the videos, the actress is even seen shaking a leg with her squad. Decked up in a pink sari, the video shows Alia looking happy and quite breathtaking as she grooves to Badshah's hit track 'Genda Phool'. In another clip, she was seen dancing to 'Jalebi Baby'. Alia's best friend Akansha Ranjan was also seen at the function. Earlier this week, Alia issued a statement clarifying that she tested negative for COVID-19 after her boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor and 'Gangubai Kathiadwadi' director Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for the same. She wrote, 'I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you all for all your good wishes! I am taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all!' Alia, who isn't able to see Ranbir as he is quarantining, even shared a throwback picture featuring Ranbir's hand in her own, to say that she is majorly missing him. Ranbir's mother, actor Neetu Kapoor had initially confirmed the actor had tested positive for the novel virus. Taking to Instagram, she had written, 'Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions'. Meanwhile, the actress is receiving praises left, right and centre for her convincing portrayal of 'Gangubai' in her forthcoming film after the trailer dropped online.
