Actress-turned-politician Roopa Ganguly’s son rams car, detained after local allege drunk driving

Actor-turned-politician Roopa Ganguly's son Akash Mukhopadhyay was detained by Kolkata Police on August 15 after he rammed his car into the wall of a posh south Kolkata club, with many bystanders having a narrow escape as the vehicle was reportedly being driven at a dangerous speed. Cops had taken him to the police station for medical examination after locals claimed he was driving under the influence of alcohol. No casualty was reported in the accident. Meanwhile, Ganguly tweeted about the same, writing that 'law should take its own course'.
