Actress Amala Paul allegedly denied entry to Kerala temple: 'Sad and disappointing that religious discrimination still exists'

South actor Amala Paul recently claimed that she was denied entry inside a temple in Kerala on the basis of her religion. According to a few reports, the actor had visited Thiruvairanikulam Mahadeva temple in Ernakulam, but she had to take a glimpse of the deity from a distance as the temple only allows Hindus to enter its premises. The actor expressed displeasure in the temple's visitors' book and wrote, 'It is sad and disappointing that religious discrimination still exists in 2023.
