Milonga fever gripped the city when like minded tango dancers took to social media and formed the Facebook group, Pune Tango Community. They now organise milonga events once a week in public spaces in Koregaon Park. A couple dances for three to four songs in a row, but if you don’t intend to dance with the same partner, you simply say ‘thank you’ and move on. Milonga meets are open to anyone who wants to know about tango and you can hang around and watch or try the dance for yourself.
