While the turnout may have been comparatively less at the third Awadh Queer Pride Parade in the city on Sunday, the enthusiasm and the energy levels among the LGBTQIA members was really high. "This parade is really special for us as this is our first one after the Section 377 verdict of the Supreme Court. Walking this time in the parade is really special for us as you can see how everyone is full of confidence, as we feel we own this world!" said Darvesh Singh Yadavendra, the key organiser and torch bearer of the LGBTQIA movement in the city.
