A jubilant Sudha Singh, winner of a silver medal in athletics at the recently concluded Asian Games 2018, reached Lucknow on Wednesday morning amid loud cheers and dhol beats. The athlete, who belongs to Raebareli, was welcomed at the Lucknow airport by Keshav Prasad Maurya, deputy Chief Minister, UP, along with her family and former teammates and coaches. The Arjuna Awardee stood second in the women’s 3000m steeplechase and clocked 9 minutes and 40.3 seconds to win her second Asian Games medal.
