A play titled Teeda Avtar was staged at the NCZCC auditorium in Prayagraj, recently. Directed by Sushma Sharma, the play is based on the original story Bhagwan Ki Maut by Vijaydan Detha.
The play deals with underlying social issues where ordinary people are treated as god and then masses expect miracles from such godmen. Mahendra Kumar Kanaujiya, who plays the central character of Teeda Vaman, garnered a lot of applause for his powerful performance.
