Migratory birds avoid nesting in Kanpur zoo owing to crocodiles in the lake

Every year migratory birds come to the lake in Kanpur zoo during winters. This makes Kanpur zoo a centre of attraction among visitors. But this time, the migratory birds are avoiding nesting at the zoo lake as there are more than 80 crocodiles in the lake which are posing a threat to these birds.Owing to the threat of the crocodiles, Kanpur zoo this year has seen a sharp decrease in the number of water birds coming to the lake in winters. Lesser number of migratory birds at zoo has also left visitors disappointed.
