In the wake of bird flu cases being found in the Kanpur Zoo, recently, Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden (Lucknow Zoo) is taking all precautions to ensure the safety of the birds in the zoo. As per the Zoo authorities, no bird flu cases have been reported yet, but all the necessary arrangements are in place. From sealing off the area for visitors where the birds are kept, sanitization of the premises, to providing PPE kit to the keepers and sanitary workers, several steps have been taken for the safety of the birds at the Lucknow Zoo.
