Om Prakash Singh, the former Director General of Police, UP, threw a lavish retirement party at his former residence, recently. Singh, along with wife Neelam, greeted everyone and ensured each of his special guests was well looked after. The incoming DGP, HC Awasthi was given a warm welcome hug by Singh. The who's who from the city was present to bid a warm adieu to Singh, who said with a smile, “Everyone is gifting me bouquets as if to say that it’s time now for me to sit back, relax and smell the flowers.”
