The recently concluded Wajid Ali Shah Awadh Mahotsav witnessed a unique competition of Awadhi cuisine cooked by contestants who ranged from amateur to professional cooks. Organized by the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department and Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, the event saw a variety of cultural performances from across the state, and along with the amazing performance, an Awadhi food competition was also organized at the UPSNA coordinated by the renowned chef Dr Izzat Hussain, who is known as an authority on Indian cuisine.
