From a beautiful array of weaves and crafts to the scrumptious plates of Awadhi cuisine-the 11th edition of a cultural festival was recently held at the Safed Baradari Qaiserbagh. The theme for this year’s festival was ‘Awadh Ke Qasbati Rang’. The cultural festival aims to explore the contribution of the qasbati tehzeeb to the Awadhi way of life.
Delicacies and crafts from the qasbas included Sandila ke laddoo, Dariyabad ke pede, Baragaon ke khurme, Shahane ki chudiyan from Kakori, Dewa pottery, Champiwala from Jais and many more.
