Actor Vineeth has started a dance school, Nrityagruham, in Eroor, Tripunithura. Internationally renowned dancer Padma Shri Padma Subrahmanyam and Kalamandalam Saraswathy were the chief guests.
“The school aims to propagate Padma Subrahmanyam’s pedagogy of the bharata nrityam dance style. I want to do that in a systematic and scientific way,” says Vineeth. The actor stresses that it is also an attempt to give exposure to boys and men, and get rid of the misconception that one gets effeminate by learning dance. “The school will offer separate classes and training for them,” he says.
