Tsunami is a word that reminds Kerala and many in India of the 2004 Tsunami strike on our shores. A movie, named after the natural phenomenon, has just been announced in Malayalam film industry. It is to be directed by filmmaker Jean Paul Lal, who also recently made the hit Prithviraj – Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer movie Driving Licence. In Jean’s next film Tsunami, actor Balu Varghese, who is also his cousin, will star as the protagonist. The movie’s puja function was recently held in Edappally Church in Kochi.
