Parvez Elahi: A one-way ticket to the heart of India

Thalassery-based Parvez Elahi is just back after the journey of a lifetime. The MBA graduate, who gave up his job for the passion of travel, toured all over India, covering 22 states, out of which he visiting over 1,000 kilometres by foot. Throughout the trip, he never stayed in a hotel or even bought a bottle of mineral water and spent only Rs 10,000 in total! Parvez, who just had one bottle in which he kept filling water from wherever possible, either slept in the open or accepted shelter offered by helpful people he met during the trip. And after 60 days of the adventure, the 25-year-old is back in Kerala.
