Are women in conservative Kerala okay with expressing their feelings on their bodies and about sex openly? Some women feel there need to be more platforms for women to express themselves. “It is not about rebelling, but people have to think of women beyond the good-girl and virgin labels. But funnily enough, though there are poems in my book which deals with other subjects, people only want to talk about the erotic stuff,” said Lidiya Prasad, a copywriter, who recently published a book of explicit and other poems.
