‘Who knew this man could paint too?’ Voices laced with surprise filled the interiors of Durbar Hall Art Gallery, as the visitors admired the life-like paintings on display, at ‘Dreams of Colours’ expo. While each of the works are realistic, classy and precise, what filled them with wonder is also the name of their creator – Kottayam Nazeer, the renowned mimicry artiste and actor. It’s hard to believe that for a painter of his calibre, it’s the first exhibition ever!
