Carnatic singer G Bhuvaneswari paid a fitting tribute to the great composer V Dakshinamoorthy at the music festival held in his honour at the Siva temple, in Marine Drive. Singing four kritis written by and one composed by him, along with Thyagaraja kritis and Mahadevan kritis, beloved to the composer, she presented a mesmerising concert on Wednesday, the concluding day of the festival. She spoke about her various interactions with the great composer, including during his visit to Maharaja’s College when she was working there.
