The Kerala Chalachitra Academy has received a facelift with the inauguration of Centre for International Film Research and Archives (CIFRA) inside the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) campus in Thiruvananthapuram. The well-equipped building which houses a research library with more than 10,000 Indian and foreign films, related books, mini-theatre and offices spaces was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
