Kathakali enthusiasts were treated to the mythological story of friends Usha and Chitralekha, who are after a morning of playing in the garden have a restful siesta. Usha and Chitralekha were portrayed by Sasikala S Nedungadi and Dr Haripriya Namboodiri. The songs were rendered by Kottakkal Madhu and Kalamandalam Krishnakumar, Kalanilayam Rateesh was on edakka and Kalanilayam Manoj on madhalam.
