One of the much-awaited annual music concerts of Thiruvananthapuram, Swathi Sangeethotsavam, has begun with a lot of fanfare, and it offered the audience something novel, right at the opening event. The 10-day music fest held at Kuthiramalika Palace had a nadaswaram concert, by young musician Akhil Anilkumar Vazhappally and veteran Mavelikkara Pradeep at the inaugural concert.
