Puneet Issar’s Mahabharat retelling wows Jaipurites

Such was his performance in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat (1988) that actor Puneet Issar became synonymous with Duryodhana. Three decades later, Puneet has returned as Duryodhana, but this time, he has recreated the magic of Duryodhana on the stage in his own theatre production Mahabharat. The play was staged in Jaipur on Saturday as part of Jairangam Seasons in collaboration with the Felicity Theatre Group of Delhi.
