Gayatri Devi’s love story to come alive in Jaipur on her 100th birthday

Jaipur will soon witness an exhibition to pay tribute to the late Maharani Gayatri Devi. Born as Princess Ayesha of Cooch Behar, her marriage to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II led to her not only becoming the Rajmata of the city,but also a popular face of Indian royalty. The exhibition, which has been planned by Gayatri Devi’s family, is a glittering tribute to her and will open on May 23, which marks her 100th birth anniversary.
