Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal hosted their annual Gurpurab celebrations at their residence. Their celebrations are always talked about because of the presence of political big-wigs. This year the celebrations were special as PM came and greeted the guests at the function. Modi offered prayers and sat with other guests to listen to Gurbani. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife were also among guests at the function.
