Bright outfits and makeup dominated the evening at the Korean Cultural Centre, when the Korean embassy hosted the auditions of 2018 Changwon K-pop World Festival. K-pop, a genre of music that originated in South Korea in 1992, has become a worldwide phenomenon now. The evening saw over 900 participants aged between 18 and 25 setting the stage on fire, singing and dancing to popular Korean pop music.
